Bumpy Roads

Assalam o Alikum Lovelies 😊 I hope you are good and life is treating you well. 🌼 Happy Monday..! 🙆 It's been a long time since I have written a piece and now I feel like I am missing out on something really important. I think it is because writing helps me share my thoughts and experiences and to connect with you all. I realize that each day is an adventure for me and when I think of my blog and its content I know how important it is to be consistent and put forward my best in writing and photography, to keep my followers engaged. I honestly cannot believe how bright this week has been, it is enormously hot in Islamabad and I feel being evaporated little by little. I miss my travel days, I miss the outings, the mountains, the greenery, the serenity and especially those early morning walks. Did I ever tell you Lovelies? I LOVE TRAVELLING and it has always been the best therapeutic escape for me. I still miss those years when Papa and I used to go to places ...

Books

Assalam o Alikum Lovelies 😊 I hope you are good and life is treating you well. This is going to be my 23 rd post and 6 th blog. It’s been such nice journey till now and in sha Allah it is going to be much more fun. I am neither an avid reader nor an ardent writer but how I started reading and blogging is something I would love to share. It was the start of 4 th semester and just the end of 3 rd semester in university when I came across some harsh realities. Things happened totally opposite to my very expectations and I ended up struggling to survive in the university. And that is when I started spending time in library with books rather than with people because honestly I was disappointed by my so called friends and people around me. So to escape the reality that people are not the way I think I chose books over people and I believe it was the best decision.  And yes, I stopped expecting anything from people. The first novel I read was ‘Peer e Kamil’ ...

Summer

Assalam o Alikum Lovelies 😊 I hope you’re good and life is treating you well. I hope Ramadan is going good too. I was inactive throughout the last month. I tried to stay active but my final projects and exams didn’t allow that. Ummm, my vacations started a day before yesterday. My last paper was on Monday. Now I am done with 4 th semester of my bachelors and I want these next 2 years to pass quickly. I am very much relaxed but I am a little unfit.  So what am I going to talk about is how my final projects and exams were. And how did I manage things in Ramadan altogether with a special uninvited guest, the ‘HEATWAVE’ And WARNING:  There are only going to be my rants. UGH.! Yes, Final projects went perfectly Alhamdulillah, the best one was of ‘Advertising’; (for details wait for the next blog. I will try my level best to share the Advertisement here or I will share the link) In Ramadan it was not easy to study and then the heat wave made it...

Venture

Assalam o Alikum Lovelies 😇 I hope you’re good and life is treating you well. I’m sorry for being this late, I had my mids and then just like everyone, I procrastinated. Umm, it’s time to write and I want to share my views today. My parents, especially my father firmly believes in the saying “A friend in need is a friend indeed” and throughout my life this was one lesson he kept on revising and from the age of 13-19,   I never really understood it. I never even tried. And that is because I thought it had nothing to do with me because I have some really good friends around who will always stay by my side no matter what. But then with time I began to realize what he really meant. IT’S THE INFLUENCE OF PEOPLE AROUND US So buckle up. Being an extra-friendly person I multiple ‘friends’ till now. Someone’s family background, their marks, their living standards and their ‘INFLUENCE’ were never really the features I looked as I called them my bestie or my Gro...

Merriment

Assalam o Alikum Everyone 😇 I hope you're good and life is treating you well. I am not an ardent writer but I believe in the saying that No one knows everything but everyone knows something.  Choosing a topic for my blog is something I struggled with deeply 😬 because so many things happen in my life that it becomes difficult to filter the type of content I want to share with you, the readers.  I do not know   Somehow,  My Hand Finds Its Way In Best Backgrounds During the week, I went to Muzaffarabad; a place where I spent a part of my childhood and completed my secondary and intermediate education.  However, I wasn’t very attached to the city.  I guess this got to do with the fact that I shifted to Islamabad later where I was extremely comfortable or perhaps it was because of the innate human nature to always resist change and avoid new experiences.  I intentionally never wanted to like the city even though Muza...

Over & Out

Assalam o Alikum Lovelies :') Umm, I hope you're good, and life is treating you well. Ever since my first blog, I have been thinking about the topics or events that I should write about or give my personal opinion or perspective on and that is the real struggle faced by us bloggers. I finally came up with two events that needed my voice. :D 1. University 2. International Woman's Day. Earlier this week, I had to cover a university event by representing the culture of my forefathers.  Being a Kashmiri, I dressed up in a traditional frock with Dupatta wrapped around my hair like the working women in Kashmir.  Day started normally; helping each other get ready, sharing things and most importantly, taking pictures.  And covered the event (it was a hot day though) :'D   Ummm, before sharing next point, I want to share a little background.
